Tippy joins WC-tournament

The Dutch ice hockey federation today announced the newest member of the Dutch squad. His name is Tippy and he will be involved in a wide range of activities around the championship in Tilburg.

Tippy could be in action as soon as this Friday as the league awards are handed out in the Dutch league. This happens at the start of the play-off final series between Nijmegen and Tilburg. Tippy will become a familiar presence both in promotional activities to draw more spectators to the rink in Tilburg, but also during the tournament itself.
