Dutch public broadcaster NCRV will follow Team Netherlands preparations towards the World Championships in Tilburg. This will result in a one hour documentary to be broadcast in April.
The program aims to profile the Dutch international team as macho men playing one of the toughest sports in the world, but also showing their human side als dedicated sons, friends, husbands, fathers and employees who need another job in order to earn a living. The documentary will be produced by EVA-media, owned by Dutch tv-personality Paul de Leeuw.
In the upcoming weeks the production crew will be in regular touch with international players to be able to obtain stories that will be interesting, exciting, funny or touching for the average tv viewer in the Netherlands.
